balance healthy living messageAbout This Website

This blog arose from my experiences in clinical Chiropractic practice where I fielded patient questions concerning their Health care, and their respective options, each day. For such a connected and over-informed society, I found that there is a tremendous amount of advertising, and advertising disguised as Science, that is pushed upon us every day. Finding reliable information on Health promotion and Holistic forms of care can be a challenge for the layman.

So this website is where I bring light to dimly lit areas of understanding on a variety of topics concerning Human Health and function. My voice is but one of many on the World Wide Web but my intent is one of educating those who do not know and engaging others who do.

All information presented is supported by current scientific evidence, so that the reader may use this information in making better informed choices in their own Health care. It is my sincerest hope that the readers of these articles find clarification of subjects that they have not otherwise been able to discover on their own, and that they perhaps discover new ideas that they have not previously considered about Health Care for themselves and their families.

Funny how caregiving is the gift that just keeps on giving. We think it is just about the physical care and emotional roller coaster of caring for loved ones. With their passing comes a whole new package of personal work that circles around to address the many things we ignored during the times of providing care.

Dementia – Hollywood’s Finally Starting to Get It Right

Dementia, as a plot device for television or film, has never quite lived up to the reality. Usually played for sobbing sympathy or just a tragic underscore to a character, the story line usually leaves out the stumbling’s of the caregivers and their associated confused introduction to their new roles.
